Rural Healthcare Training Weekend
Standard operating guidelines
Jeff Godby, Stanford EMS Michael Ruhe, Stanford EMS
Rural Healthcare Training Weekend started as a few small continuing education weekends that were conducted by Stanford EMS Training Division in Stanford KY. The vision was seen by the founding committee to bring new healthcare knowledge and skills to the rural communities we practice in. Stanford EMS, Stanford EMS Training Division and Air Evac Lifeteam officially founded the first annual Rural Healthcare Training Weekend in 2012. The committee decided to revamp and involve providers from several areas of healthcare and bring together healthcare providers from across the Commonwealth and beyond.
To continue to provide an educational symposium, that is both cost effective and fun to the healthcare industry. We will continue to work toward providing quality continuing education to Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Respiratory, and Radiology.
The conference committee will be made up of a group of healthcare providers that volunteer their time that is mission focused on providing quality education and follow the mission of Rural Healthcare Training Weekend.
